Recommendation
Recommendation: That the City Council: 1) Accept Phase 2 of Founders Park completed by Kormex Construction Inc. as complete, 2) Authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion (NOC) with the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office, and 3) If no claims are filed within 35 days after recordation, direct staff to release the 5% construction retention payment to Kormex Construction, Inc. in the amount of $3,897.50.
